Personality: Despite being a slave, Pluto is a remarkably chipper and cheerful lad. He seems rarely to ever be in a bad mood and is never mad or aggressive. He is loyal and optimistic, always ready to follow an order without protest. He is extremely polite and respectful, especially to those older than him. He greatly admires all of the gladiators and loves to work for them and help them in any way he can. He strives to be as helpful as he can and always seems to be full of energy as he does his work around the coliseum. He is rather fond of creating and repairing things, especially armor and accessories.

History: Pluto was born from a family of slaves, and thus has remained a slave his entire life. He was lucky enough to have belonged to an old and kind master who only needed him to help tend his livestock and farm. Pluto spent most of his childhood there, living life rather peacefully. He was rarely scolded and was never whipped. Though he had to work every day with little payoff, he felt lucky and grateful for his circumstance.

However, when Pluto was a little older the farm began to wilt and his master steadily became poorer and poorer. Desperate, the farmer sold all of his slaves to many different masters. Pluto was separated from his family, auctioned off to the coliseum owner. From then on he worked there, seeing many things for the first time, including gladiators and ferocious beasts. He became fascinated in the battles and envied the gladiators for their strength.

Pluto found working at the coliseum to be more difficult and harsher than with his master at the farm. For simply wandering off to watch a battle on his first day there, Pluto was whipped for the first time. He made sure to behave from then on, but he still couldn’t help but become distracted when a battle was taking place. Since then he has been whipped twice more, both for reasons hardly his fault.

Regardless, he still works as hard as he can, enjoying being around the gladiators and watching their battles, dreaming that maybe somehow he could be a gladiator, too.

Kulala sat just outside the tyro den, staring into camp with a rather uncharacteristic look on his face. For once, and this was indeed a very rare occasion, he was actually cheerful. He had not been woken up this morning by a piercing pain to his skull, as he usually was. Instead, he'd woken up on his own pain free. Right now he could only blame such a blessing on the ginger he had eaten just the night before. His headaches had been so bad that night; he couldn't sleep and was forced to awaken the healer in the dead of the night to give him some medicine. Kulala couldn't be sure how long this relief would last, but he didn't want to waste the day by napping all day like he usually did. The messenger tyro took notice to Yaliyo leaving his den. It looked like he needed to go somewhere, probably to collect more herbs or berries. Kulala got up to his paws and walked over to the healer slowly. "Uh, good morning," he started a little awkwardly. Though by now it was just afternoon. "Do you, um... need help with anything?" He asked with something of a shy smile mixed with embarrassment. He noticed that Maisha wasn't around, which was better for him, but that also meant Yaliyo didn't have any assistance. He felt that he needed to pay the healer back somehow for always giving him ginger whenever he asked.
